Key responsibilities include:
- Basic Fatigue Management compliance (training will be provided)
- Ensuring all operational, administration, customer service, relationships are managed in a professional and appropriate manner
- Maintaining effective, efficient and best practice logistics solutions within the operations (planning, allocating and scheduling work)
- General operational tasks including data entry
Note, that this is a day shift role within a 24/7 work environment. For this position the roster rotating with some weekends required . The role reports to the Operations Manager and is based at our Orange Depot.
About You
You are self-motivated, extremely reliable, and work well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
You don’t necessarily have a background in transport, however you are motivated and have a can-do attitude. You are able to adapt and learn quickly in an environment and team that operates with a sense of urgency.
Your past work skills will involve some experience in either organising, allocating or scheduling.
Your skills and experience for this role need to include:
- Clear communication skills – both written and oral
- Strong relationship building skills
- Strong attention to detail
- An ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Capable of making decisions quickly
- Fast and competent computer use, incl Microsoft Office
- The ability to work autonomously whilst maintaining strong team communication
- An ability to multitask
